Whatever Party celebrates your healthy habits. It is built so that your health data stays on your device and under your control. We run no servers, and we cannot see your data.
With your permission, Whatever Party reads sleep, exercise minutes, heart rate variability, and mindful minutes from Apple Health. This data is processed entirely on your device to decide when to throw you a celebration. It is never uploaded to us or to any third party, never used for advertising, and never sold. You can revoke access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
If you use the food party feature, photos are analyzed on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Photos are not uploaded to us. If you are in a crew and blast a food win, the photo is shared with your crew through iCloud as described below.
If you create or join a Party Crew, the app stores crew data in iCloud using Apple's CloudKit: your chosen party name and avatar, win summaries (the goal type, a short stat line such as "8.2 hours of glorious sleep," and the day it happened), any food photos attached to wins you share, and hype reactions. This data lives in the crew owner's personal iCloud storage and is shared only with the people invited to that crew. We operate no servers and have no ability to read it. Leaving a crew, or the owner deleting it, removes your access; the crew owner can delete the crew's data entirely from their iCloud.
Please note: win summaries and photos you share with a crew are visible to that crew's members. Only invite people you're comfortable celebrating with.
Party Pass, Party Crew, and tips are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchases support Family Sharing where noted.
Celebrations and crew notifications are delivered using local notifications and Apple's push infrastructure. Notification content is generated on your device or from your crew's shared iCloud data as described above.
Whatever Party currently keeps simple usage counters (like how many celebrations fired) locally on your device only — nothing is transmitted. If we ever add anonymous, aggregate analytics to understand how the app is used, it will never include your health data, and this policy will be updated first.
No ads. No tracking across apps or websites. No selling or sharing of data with third parties. No accounts, and no data collection by us at all.
Whatever Party is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
